Gathering in front of the KANARIS TOURS office and departure at 21.30 by regular ferry to the port of Piraeus. Overnight on board.

Arrival early in the morning at the port of Piraeus, boarding the bus and departure for the area of ​​Loutraki where we will visit the Holy Monastery of St. Patapios which is located in the Gerania hills overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, there we will worship the Relic of the Saint. Then we will reach the mountainous Vytina and Dimitsana where we will visit the Ecclesiastical Museum which is housed in the historical house of the Patriarch of Constantinople, Gregory V. Also here is the historical residence of the Metropolitan of Old Patras, Germanos. Then we will visit the Hydrokinesis Museum where it has traditional installations of hydrodynamic mechanisms (water friction, flour mill). Outside the mill we will see a cauldron, the traditional tannery and the gunpowder mill, where during the revolution of 1821, they supplied the fight with this necessary war material. If we have time we will visit the Holy Monastery of Agios Ioannou. Finally we will arrive in Sparta and our hotel.
20/9/2022After our breakfast, boarding the bus and departure for the well-known Diros Cave where it can be explored on foot and by boat. Then we depart for the beautiful Monemvasia with its medieval castle, built on a 300m high rock. Continuing our trek to Laconic Mani we end up at Gytheio "Gi Theon" an important commercial port of the Romans. Return to our Hotel.

Today after breakfast, we will visit the archaeological site of Mystras. The fortress, which developed into a large Byzantine castle-state with palaces, mansions, magnificent churches and monasteries, was the seat of the Despotate of Mystras, and there the last Byzantine Emperor, Constantine the Palaeologus, was crowned monarch. We continue to Kalamata to visit the church of Agia Theodora Vasta with the seventeen (17) trees on his roof. Tradition states that the miracle of Nature is related to the martyrdom of the Saint. After that we return to our Hotel.

Today after our breakfast, we board the coach with our luggage and depart for the capital of Argolis, Nafplio which is a historical place for the younger Greece, it was the first capital of the Greek state after the revolution of 1821. Landmarks of the city are Bourtzi, built on the small island of Agios Theodoros and the well-known Palamidis, a famous Venetian castle that dominates the city. The old town was built mainly during the years of the first Governor of Greece Ioannou Kapodistrias at the beginning of the 19th century. We continue to the archaeological site of Epidaurus where we will see the sanctuary of Asklepios. We will admire the Ancient Theater which is located at the southeast end of the sanctuary and was dedicated to healing god. It is built on the western slope of Mount Kynorti and is considered the most perfect ancient Greek theater in terms of acoustics and aesthetics. Finally we arrive at the Port of Piraeus where we will board the ferry and at 20.00 departure for our return back to Chios.
